Strawberry (Albion)

Description

Symmetrical, large red colored berries. Known for an exceptionally sweet taste. Its fruits are excellent for fresh eating, pies, preserves and freezing. An everbearing variety, Albion strawberry exhibits resistance to verticillium wilt and phytophthora crown rot. Bears fruits from May to August. Everbearing strawberry plants, like Albion, do not send out as many runners as Junebearing plants. Self-pollinating. Sold in a nursery 6 pack. Commercially grown.
